The Climb - NHDI 2026 Performance
Huge congratulations to our incredible NHDI dancers for their spectacular performance in The Climb at The Colonial Theatre over Memorial Day weekend! Your hard work, energy, and dedication truly shone on stage, and we could not be more proud of the amazing show you put on for our community. An extra special shout-out to Andre Rodriguez, who absolutely shined as the lead character in this year's performance and did an incredible job anchoring the entire show! Way to go, dancers!

A Near-Perfect Score! SMS Band Triumphs at the Great East Festival
I am absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to share some historic news from our music department!

Our Middle School Band traveled to the prestigious Great East Music Festival and brought home the highest possible honor: a Platinum Medal Rating.

Mr. Ed Lowy and our student-musicians delivered a breathtaking performance, earning a near-perfect score of 98 out of 100!

To put their talent into perspective, one of the professional adjudicators on the panel stated that they were "the best middle school band he has ever heard."

For those unfamiliar with the event, the Great East Music Festival is a long-standing New England tradition that brings together top-tier scholastic ensembles. It serves as a rigorous educational showcase where groups are independently evaluated by professional judges on a strict points system, followed by an immediate on-stage clinic.

To earn a Platinum rating, an ensemble must achieve a score of 95 or higher. Securing a 98 is an elite, extraordinarily rare distinction.
